Remarks of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro at the 60th Mercosul Summit

The President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, delivered an online message to the 60th Summit of Heads of State of Mercosur held today in Assunción. He highlighted Brazil’s perspectives on the trade bloc, especially in the current international scenario of volatility and uncertainty.

 The President emphasized the importance of the bloc’s modernization agenda, the 10% reduction of the Common External Tariff, which will positively impact inflation, and the external negotiations agenda, celebrating the recently concluded Free Trade Agreement with Singapore.
