Diesel price drops in Brazil

Brazilian oil and gas giant Petrobras announced a decrease of 3.5% in the price of diesel, starting this Friday. The liter will be down R$ 0.20 to a cost of R$ 5.41. The price of diesel in Brazil has remained unchanged for almost 50 days.

This reduction follows the evolution of reference prices, stabilized at a lower level, and is consistent with Petrobras’ pricing practice: follow the global market, without internalizing prices of the cyclical volatility of international quotations and exchange rate.
